nice work dear

The UGC expects to declare the results of the UGC-NET examination by the middle of September as against late October, when it is normally done, once the experts submit their report.

i think September second week

may beĀ SeptemberĀ last week

Yesterday I had conversation with ugc guys & they told that there wud be not be any correction in their answer keys...the reason for the feedback is for the further improvement, the result wud be declared in the second week of Sep along with the cut off marks....this shows their damm care attitude...Ā

Dear professional

Ā I am not agreed with you bcozĀ after reveiving feedback on the answer keys, the UGC will seek opinion of experts whether the marking scheme needs to be changed or not and also Prakash said "" Sometimes there may be a difference of opinion on what is the correct answer in the objective type question paper"".

If UGC didn't change any answer key, they have to report what is the reason behind it.

agree

UGC uploads NET answers on website

LUCKNOW: Candidates who took the NET (National Eligibility Test) in June this year can now get their scores before the result is declared. In a new initiative, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has uploaded the answer keys of NET on its website and has also sought the feedback from the candidates.

Earlier this year the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) had also uploaded answer keys of Joint Entrance examination (JEE) on its website. After the answers were put online, wrong questions, accounting for 14 marks in JEE, were detected.

Welcoming the UGC decision, National PG College principal SP Singh said, "Uploading answers on the website will help students to know whether they have qualified for the exam or not. Since the students are given a carbon copy of the OMR sheet, matching the answers with the correct choices becomes very easy.'' Prof Singh has been involved in evaluation of NET answer books.

UGC chairman Prof Ved Prakash said the move will bring more transparency and accountability in the NET. After getting the feedback on the answer keys, UGC will seek expert opinion on whether the marking scheme should be changed. Prof Prakash added, "Sometimes, there may be some difference of opinion on what is the correct answer in the objective-type question paper. Hence, feedback is essential.''

NET was held on June 26 on a different pattern this year wherein Paper III, which was earlier subjective, was made objective.

The first paper had 60 questions, of which candidates had to attempt 50 questions. The second paper had 50 questions and all were compulsory while the third paper had 70 questions and all were compulsory. The total marks were 350 with no negative marking. UGC-NET is held twice a year - in June and December

The UGC website also displays the category-wise qualifying marks in each paper. NET deals with the appointment of assistant professors (lecturers) in the colleges and also with awarding of junior research fellowships (JRF).

In June this year, more than 5.5 lakh students appeared in NET. The results are expected by mid-September.

After one year!

what nonsense question........?
