No mam only book purchased through vendor only enter in the accession register.

Specimen copy books are not accepted as regular book purchase. u need not mention in the register or any where else.

UGC, or AICTU norms are voilated if u add specimen copy books.

No , entry of specimen copy in the accession register

then how will you manage the specimen copies of books?

Sir, specimen book would be not counting in our total library collection, Please reply me sir

There is Accession Register for Gifted books available in the market. You can use that for books received through gratis/free etc.

you can maintain separate register for specimen copies.

I think ,specimen copy in not for library, it is only subject expert (teacher). So, handover it to teacher. No need to make or purchase any register.

Yes we can enter specimen copies if they are few in number in accession register. Accession register is the record of all library resources acquired by purchase, gift or donation. we can make a remark in the remark column the the book is a specimen copy.
