you can go for new title like consortia, e-journal and all for P.hd. choose any university those providing P.hd in library science. because now the addmission will be based on enterance based.

Ph.D is very much depends on your interest area. So its my suggestions to decide the area where you are keen to work, bz Ph.D is long term process and require dedicated effort. After deciding the area do the following.

1. Consult the various journals/institute websites and see the treads in your research area. You may also consult LISA(Library and Information Science Abstract) available online too.

2. After going through in detail, you will definitely know the area where you are much interested.

3. Search the guide of the university who has similar interest and meet with him/her.

4. Go through the Ph.D selection process.

Hope it will work.


Note: In some of the university submitting a Synopsis before registration is necessary, if it is so, be ready with synopis.
