Yes, I M agree with you and you are right Mr. Shyneemartin

Dear Mr. Ajay,

In the work place stress is also a part of job,so in this regard we can say bind up the duty schedules and go to home than take rest.

IF I WANT TO WRITE A BOOK ON THE TOPIC "Grievances\STRESS ON LIBRARIANS during working hour"

THAN PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR VALUABLE VIEWS

Stress can be Mental stress and Techno stress.

Mental stress in work place may be due to work load,,job dissatisfaction, negligence from authority, lack of knowledge in library administration, fear about job security etc.But it can be overcome by improving our mental capacity.

Technosterss (Ergonomics)is due to absense of or lack of proper working conditions in modern libraries.

It can be overcome by arranging machines and equipment  in order that people can work with them more efficiently.

Please read the attached paper explaining the study conducted at Anna University.  The references also will be very helpfull for you.

Stress on a job particularly depends on the institution's authority and on the person himself. A person can work without stress in  an institute having high workload or a person may take stress even in a less loaded environment too. Systematic decentralization of work can help a bit to someone to get rid of stress. But what i think sometimes stress is also necessary. Because a stress less job can pull us back from the personnel as well as professional growth and if we don't come out from our comfort zone we may not also enjoy our work.
