as per my opinion total 74 UGC NET exam Center in all over India
& averageĀ appearedĀ candidatesĀ Ā each center approx. minim Ā 50 or maxim 70
50*74= 4440 or may be upto 5000

In Meerut there were thousands of students who gave net june 2012.... according to local news paper there only in Meerut there were 17000+ aspirants

Each centre would accommodate around 4000-5000 students. and since there are about 74 centres, it would roughly translate into 3.5 lakh students.Ā
