Total Number of Candidates Appeared UGC NET 2012- JUNE

Is there any idea about total number of applicant for the June 2012 NET Exam

as per my opinion total 74 UGC NET exam Center in all over India

& average appeared candidates  each center approx. minim  50 or maxim 70

50*74= 4440 or may be upto 5000

According to TOI about 7 lac aspirants appeared for NET this time

Andhra University LIS 280

In Meerut there were thousands of students who gave net june 2012.... according to local news paper there only in Meerut there were 17000+ aspirants

Each centre would accommodate around 4000-5000 students. and since there are about 74 centres, it would roughly translate into 3.5 lakh students. 

 the number of candidates appeared for  UGC net 2012 June was approximately 5.5 lac students total.around 300 from library science in CUSAT Kerala center only .

In Delhi Centre the total 1366 students for Library and Information Science were enrold for June 2012 exam.

I mean Only in LIS Subject
