Dear Friends,

In my opinion, at the moment there is no such ratings or rankings are available in India for LIS schools or departments. But looking forward its high time and best idea to have a rankings system for LIS schools similar to Business schools. There are several rankings available for B school at national level ( Economic Times, Business today, Business World etc collect data and publish rankings annually) at International level Financial Times (FT) B-school rankings are well known and global reorganized.

 All recognized by UGC offered MLIS course (regular) . There is no options the best University, otherwise All Universities names come up as best!       All is well! All is best!

sir/mam,

where u are going to study MLIS ? that is not a matter.

but how much u can able to learn that is the matter (capacity to understand the material and ability to finish the course within the duration)

because learning process gives experience and success

my opinion is instead of doing MLIS u can do MBA and SOFTWARE PROGRAMMES

because u have 2 option one is u have to get good score in MLIS and continue PHD programmes

or do MBA with additional software programmes (automation or programming a project like etc.,)

the only thing is in our library field there are no recognize. if govt,public get awareness regarding library and importance of library till that library science is ???????????

As far as Ms. Priyanka's comment i would like to add that IGNOU's quality is dependent on the host college/university to which it is attached, i mean the pactical classes will be conducted by the hosts itself. Rest is every one's openion may differ...
