Sir

UGC guidelinesĀ clearlyĀ states that A teacher should beĀ available forĀ teaching minimum 5 hours in a day in theĀ college and university. UGC does not give theĀ separateĀ  guidelinesĀ for Librarian and it includes librarian as a Academic Staff.Ā

WHICH WORKING HOURS SHOULD WE HAVE TO CONSIDER 40 OR Ā 42

Sir

LibrarianĀ isĀ considered as NonĀ VocationalĀ  Academic staff .

So we should follow the criteria ofĀ teachingĀ staffĀ because UGCĀ guidelines are given for librarians not for Office staff.

Librarians are the equivalent to TeachingĀ staff.Ā

Aur UGC hand book me Librarians ke liye rules diye hai Babu logo ke liye nahi.
