VACANCY NOTICE ON DEPUTATION FOR AIIMS, GUWAHATI

Applications are invited in prescribed pro-forma from eligible Officers of Central/ State Government/ U.T/Autonomous Bodies/ Universities/Public Sector Undertaking/R&D Organization/Police Departments of Central/State/U.T/Armed Forces including Para Military Forces as applicable for filling up the following Group ‘A’ Posts on Deputation Basis at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Guwahati.

The essential qualification, experience etc. required for applying for these posts are as under:-

Post: Librarian (Grade-1)

PB:2; Rs.4,600/- GP, Level 7 of 7th CPC

Officers of the Central/State / U.T. Government or office the central Autonomous Statutory Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings.
A) i) Holding analogous on regular basis. 

ii) Posts in the scale of Rs. 1,640-2,900 (as per 6th CPC Rs. 9,300 - Rs. 34,800 GP Rs. 4,200/-) with 3 years of regular service in the grade: and
B) Possessing the following qualification:
i) M.Sc./M.A./M. Com Degree and
ii) Bachelor’s degree in Library Science and
iii) Experience in acquisition of books, periodicals and documentation work in a Medical or other Library of standing.

(Period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years)
Note: Librarian Gr-II who are in line for promotion shall not be eligible for being taken on deputation.
