1. Cannabis is an effective treatment for anxiety and depression.
Cannabis has been shown to be an effective treatment for anxiety and depression. In a study published in the journal Neuropsychopharmacology, researchers found that cannabis can effectively reduce anxiety and improve symptoms of depression in adults with chronic pain. Results from this study suggest that cannabinoids may represent a novel treatment option for people with chronic pain who require relief from both their physical and mental suffering.
2. Cannabis can help regulate dramatic mood swings.
While it is commonly known that cannabis can help relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression, research shows that it also has the ability to regulate dramatic mood swings. People who suffer from bipolar disorder may find relief through using cannabis as part of their treatment plan. Not only does cannabis help to stabilize moods, it often leads to reductions in associated symptoms like mania and psychosis in people who have bipolar disorder.
