Linux Installation: First Install Java, Ant, Apache, Maven, Postgres or choose these all packages during linux installation. then download DSpace 1.5.2 software package with manual. Manual will provide step by step instructions for installation.

when I am using ./index-init, it is showing Error regarding communities & items. plz help how to export & import data from Dspace 1.4.1 to 1.5.2.
you may follow the steps bellow:
1. Dump the DSpace database
pg_dump --verbose --oids --create --format=c --username=dspace dspace >
path/to/dumpfile.sql
2. Save the file "dumpfile.sql"
3. Restore the database from "dump.sql'
pg_restore -C -d dsp…
I have successfully setup Dspace 1.5.2, but I am unable to migrate data from Dspace 1.4.2 version, plz help
