LIS education in India completed 100 years.
Dear Library Professionals,
Year 2011 brought a special achievement for library professionals in India. We have completed 100 years of Library and Information Science Education in India. The first LIS course was started in Baroda state in 1911 and so in 2011 we have successfully competed a millennium.
I congrats all LIS Teachers and Library Professional on this occasion.
