Instructions for Implementation of Kathpalia Committee Report on Library Staff

The Executive Council vide its resolution no. 76 dated 20th August 2007 had accepted the Report on the Promotion Policy for the Library Staff of University of Delhi and Colleges for implementation prepared by Ms. Janaki Kathpalia Committee.

As per best of knowledge & belief UGC or Parliament publication division may not sale it's reports. I think you have to go the Library pf UGC, You can request for photocopy of these reports there. In my opinion this is the only way, otherwise in so many books and articles you may read there recommendations only.

Let us see if, anybody can solve this problem, so that we all could purchase the required reports.

You can download recent reports from the website of UGC i.e., http://www.ugc.ac.in/pub/index.html but, these old reports are not there (I have searched but could not find the same).

Dear Mr. Tiwari,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I have collected the recommendations only from net. But full texts are required. Unfortunately National Library, Kolkata possesses only the University Education Commission -1948 and Kothari Commission-1964 reports.

Regards

Ashis Biswas

Thanks a lot.
