U r 100% correct.I have shifted to science profession. Now I am working as a TGT Science in a public school.Better salary....better job satisfaction....better service condition.....Mujhe pehle hi change kar lena chaiye tha.....i have qualified NET in LIS....but have no hope of good job in this profession.....every one asks abt the experience in degree college.....n I have 2 options  either join on lesser salary n inferior servise conditions....or.....donot think abt the job in LIS.....I felt the 2nd option is better.........................

good sir!

U r correct. I am also UGC NET qualified in LIS but to no result.I am also planning to to BED for better job condition.

Aap bilkul sai kai hai.

dear virendra
I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT BUT AS I THINK THAT WE LIBRARIAN MUST NEGLECT THIS TYPE OF JOB SO THAT THE INSTITUTE WILL BE BOUNDED TO GIVE MORE OR EQUIVALENT SALARY OTHER WISE ONE MLIS STUDENT ACCEPT LESS SALARY THEN THEY FEEL THAT LIBRARIAN CAN ACCEPT ANY SALARY WE ARE NOT BOUND TO ACCEPT LESS SALARY IF WE NEED A JOB THEN AN INSTITUTE ALSO NEED A PROFESSIONAL LIBRARIAN SO DON'T COMPROMISE WITH MINIMUM SALARY THEN OUR POSITION WILL BE BETTER

aap bilkul sahi hai esse to achha ek levar kama leta hai 300- 500 dinbhar me

सही कहा आपने !

your right my friend but it is our problem u dont accept less salary and also aware to new pass out and distance education student  student generally the have accept less salary and they think its job just for experience. and salary structural for Librarian is unbalanced so i am attend every interview as to as possible and aware those student to value of Liberian and tel him don't accept less salary.

good work sir !

Yes Mr. Pandey i m fully agree with your  statement....but dear...hv u ever try to know tht why this situation created...just because of ignorance of Govt. as well as we are also responsible up to large extant, first of all we have to create a statutory forum which would be deal in salary negotiation matters as well as other benefits....there must be a regulation for the salary negotiation...Govt. need to instruct to all institutions (pvt institution) that they have to bound to pay salary as per govt./ state govt norms. More over we need to aware from this kind of ill practices...those who are ready to rendering their service at lowest salary we should boycott them from library professional society.

I will fully agree with all comments and suggestions all those professional colleague. how can improve like this problems.

Don't receive offer of less salary sir ji!
