thank you abilash ji

I feel, part of the topic is already discussed under

Motivate for reading among students

Mam, may I share my experience in this regard. You may use audio visual aids to make the class more interesting, conduct debates, quizzes which may create interest among the students, organize story-telling sessions for kids of lower classes, ask your authority for allowing you to give grades to the best library users, decorate the library to attract the students to the library and overall a friendly behavior with the students, ever ready to answer all their queries, help them in their assignments are some of the tips of attracting students to the library and make the period interesting for them. The period should be one of relaxation, enjoyment and informative.

Yes i also like u r above details upon the increase the reading habit among the students ...!

 Dear Manavta Mam

At the outset we laud your initiation.

In printed books, FOR KIDS - choose Bold letter picture books  FOR UP & SECONDARY WARDS -  Use e-books, audio books, video books.

Thanks every one for their interesting and informative suggestions,

One thing I want to add that  I want month wise and class wise period plan, how I involve students in a Library only with books? how I encourage them to read books? how I tell them that how books are interesting? Because no Librarian is able to read all the books available his or her library, But how we encourage students to read them. Please suggest as a period plan to involve children in reading.

Dear Manavta,

http://www.hrfindia.org/... Kindly contact this Hippocamus reading foundation people for u r regular planning on Library periods, They support us for  regular schedule  on Library classes  and track the reading level of the children too..

As i hv   experienced    wid thm , dey support us wonderfully  wid luvly activities and we can make our library periods colorful.

Thanks, Dear friends thanks a lot for suggestions.

Best Regards

Manavta Jugeshh
