Yes,all institutions/organizations will accept MLISC Degree from IGNOU .
yes mr akhtar is correct
Yes dear IGNOU is a reputed open university you eligible for librarian in any organization even govt. or Private both

but, there is a notice that from 2005, AICTE recognized only IGNOU MBA and MCA degree. Pl. clarify this.

IGNOU is a CENTRAL UNIVERSITY established by an Act of Parliament in 1985 (Act No. 50 of 1985) IGNOU Degrees / Diplomas / Certificates are recognised by all the members of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and are at par with Degrees / Diplomas / Certificates of all Indian Universities / Deemed Universities / Institutions vide UGC Circular No. F1-52/2000 (CPP-II) dated 5 May, 2004 & AIU Circular No. EV/B(449)/94/176915-177115 dated January 14, 1994.

AICTE Recognition for MBA / MCA courses

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) wide its letter F No. AICTE/Academic/MOU-DEC/2005 dt. May 13, 2005 has specified that the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) are recognized by AICTE.

Then what does it mean? I think degrees only MBA and MCA are recognized by AICTE. Pl. continue the discussion

All India Council of Technical Educaiton (AICTE) approved MBA and MCA of IGNOU because these are major technical programme as well as some others also which are also approved by AICTE. Rest of programmes including MLIS also approved by UGC, Further DCE (Distance Council of Education) Certificate, IGNOU itself issued to National Open Universities and Schools, So no need to say that is it approved by DCE.

Further, IGNOU is a reputed Centre University, which is number one open university in the world, which degrees are being recognised by other countries also including commonwealth countriest.

So no need to worry......

it may be possible but not sure that Only MBA and MCA are recorgnized by the AICTE and other Degree/Diploma and certificate are recorganized by all the members of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and UGC
You must go IGNOU website for more detail i hope you will be satisfy
Thanks for your reply
