Dear LIS Professionals,
I am working in Abroad, suppose during my working at abroad, if I get the publication in Indian journals, then it will be count as National or International publication for me?

Thanks

Dear Parvez
In my opinion the status of a journal i. e. whether its a national or international journal depends upon its circulation and contributions to it.
agreed
Thanks sir for nice explanation!!

Dear Friend,
As per my view point, since u r a native of India therefore the publication in Indian journals would be considered as National and vice-versa. In this case we contribute to our nation.

I hope u may be agree with me.
Thanks for your views!!

such a good discussion i thank national journal mean the publisher, Author and other contributor are from home country. author may be outside.
but in international journal it published outside from the home country.

thanks
You mean India doesn't publish any International Journal?
Thanks mr. Raj
Counting of National or International publication just depend upon the journal's scope of contributor, readership or circulation, editorial staff etc.
An international journal covers the 'above stated' worldwide while a national journal covers it from a single country.
So there is no issue of residence or native country.:)
Thanx
Thank you very for clarifying in very simple manner.
